Edward Jones was a logical career choice for me based on their fundamental, long-term perspective that’s hyper-focused on quality and diversification. Edward Jones spent the last century helping investors achieve what’s most important to them using a straightforward investing philosophy. Their partnership and personal focus to provide a holistic approach aligns with my personal beliefs and business goals. Being a business owner for over 17 years, I know that in the end, relationships are built on trust and honesty, and that’s a perfect fit for me.
Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, I spent my childhood summers on the sandy shores of Venice, Florida, and in doing so, the warm Florida sunshine has always been near and dear to me. My high school economics class really opened my eyes to the financial world, and one stock portfolio project inspired a love that has grown over the years into the career I have today. Having been a student of the market for 25 years, moving to Edward Jones truly completes my career path.
I began my career in real estate and always had an entrepreneurial spirit, so I launched my own real estate business in 2008. Chicago winters are blustery and cold and always having that love for the warm Florida sunshine prompted us to make a big decision. As our son, Kyle, was set to start first grade we decided to move to Englewood, FL, in 2012. I moved the real estate brokerage here and eventually added a property management division, which became the focus of our business. Serving clients on the majestic island of Boca Grande and surrounding areas became a successful passion. In 2016, we happily welcomed our daughter, Lyla, and continued to thrive in our hidden gem of southwest Florida.
Over the years my wife, Danielle, and I have enjoyed our community, volunteering at our local elementary school, being a part of the PTA, youth sports, youth sailing and other civic organizations. Over the past few years, our area was hit with multiple hurricanes and our real estate and rental business suffered greatly. Another decision needed to be made, so as one door closed, another opened with an amazing opportunity to come full circle and begin my journey with Edward Jones.
