Do you love Venice public art? Let’s help VAHS and VABI reach their goals! Here are two ways you can support two great projects this summer.

John Nolen Statue: Venice Area Historical Society & Venice Area Beautification Inc.
As a part of the Centennial Celebrations, Venice Area Historical Society (“VAHS”) is in partnership with Venice Area Beautification Inc. (“VABI”) to commission a statue of Venice’s original city planner, John Nolen. The all-bronze statue of Nolen will be seated in Centennial Park on a bench and hold his city plan of Venice. Bronzeman, a California company, will cast the statue.

Venice Circus Mural: Venice Area Beautification Inc. (VABI)
Help VABI complete the new Venice Circus Mural! This vibrant 240 ft. by 6 ft. artwork celebrates the rich heritage of the circus, a cornerstone of Venice’s history. Located along Business 41 on the island of Venice, just north of the south bridge, this mural pays tribute to the city’s unique connection to the circus arts.

As we continue with this exciting project, your support is vital to its success. By contributing, you will help create a lasting legacy that honors our cultural history and beautifies our city. Together, we can create a mural that will stand as a testament to Venice’s unique history and future.
