Another important volunteer component of Venice MainStreet is the amazing group of 60+ volunteers called Downtowners. They staff the information kiosk in Centennial Park and walk the historic district’s avenues to greet visitors, give out brochures, and answer questions. You can typically spot their bright green shirts and friendly faces six days a week, Mondays through Saturdays from 10:30am to 2:30pm, during peak tourist season (mid November to mid April). Volunteers shifts are typically two hour shifts.
