Pathways to adventure
Walk or bike through miles of scenic trails leading to hidden gems and natural beauty. Venice is recognized as a Trail Town by The Florida Department of Environmental Protection Greenways and Trails System. It also a Silver level Bicycle Friendly Community recognized by the League of American Bicyclists.

Information about Florida Bicycle Laws, the Downtown Venice Bicycle Ordinance and monthly free guided City of Venice bicycle rides are available on the City of Venice’s website.
Seasonal pedicab and surrey rides are a fun way to explore the Legacy Trail during the cool months! Free 45 minute roundtrip tours are led by Sarasota County volunteers. Pedicabs fit two people; surreys fit four people. Dates and details are available on the Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources website.
