Who we are
A local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
We are a staff of four supported by a volunteer board of directors, as well as 70+ volunteer Downtown Ambassadors. More than 300 businesses, nonprofits and individuals choose to belong to Venice MainStreet Inc. as our partners.
What we do
We invest in our community
We build awareness of historic downtown Venice and beyond! We host 40+ annual VMS concerts and events, as well as partner with many local organizations to promote other community events. We also offer small business and nonprofit marketing support, produce public art, aid historic preservation projects, and more!
Our impact
We strengthen our local economy
We provide community-based economic development through events, promotions, marketing, and supporting historic preservation. We help grow the local economy by attracting tourism and improving the quality of life for residents. Over 100,000 people attend VMS events annually.
