Venice Beach, a Certified Blue Wave Beach, is a favorite local spot and only a short-walk from downtown. Don’t miss its iconic Space Age designed beach pavilion, built in 1963, which offers a shady spot to have a picnic or visit the concession stand. The beach is home to a large number of marine turtles that nest between the months of May and October.
